Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Panipat under CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar has been established under the MOU between CCSHAU, Hisar and ICAR, New Delhi to accomplish the job regarding transfer of technology in the field of agriculture for the benefit of farming community in general. The basic objective is to increase the agricultural production in the country and improve living standard of people. Krishi Vigyan Kendra is a district level organization engaged in transfer of latest agriculture technologies to the farming community of the district. KVK acts as a bridge between the research organization and farmers that works for solving the location specific problems/issues of farming community in agriculture and allied fields.
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ujha, Panipat has been established in October, 1994 under the administrative control of CCS Haryana Agricultural University (CCS HAU), Hisar. KVK is situated in the periphery of village Ujha on Siwaha- Chhajpur road at a distance of 5 K.M. from G.T. Road, Panipat. KVK Panipat occupy an operational area of 16.5 ha, out of which 12.0 ha of land is under crop (Seed Production &Technology Demonstration) & 0.9 ha is under horticulture (Orchard ) and 3.6 ha of land is under buildings, roads, paths irrigation channels & pond.
