Academic Achievements:

The department's commitment to academic excellence shines through its consistent achievements and successes. Its students stand out in national-level examinations, earning prestigious fellowships such as INSPIRE, DST, ICAR JRF, CSIR JRF, ICMR and UGC JRF. With pride, we currently support ten outstanding students for academic excellence who have been awarded INSPIRE, UGC, and CSIR fellowships, while eighteen others have demonstrated their academic competence by clearing NET, ARS, and GATE examinations. These accomplishments reflect the department's dedication to nurturing a strong academic foundation and cultivating a culture of excellence among its students.

Both the faculty members and students actively contribute to the academic discourse and knowledge exchange by actively participating in international and national conferences, workshops, and seminars. Over the span of five years, from 2018 to 2023, both our esteemed faculty and diligent students have produced a remarkable collection of more than sixty-two cutting-edge research papers that have been featured in renowned and prestigious journals. This extensive publication record is a testament to their unrelenting pursuit of knowledge and their commitment to pushing the boundaries of their respective fields.

A noteworthy aspect of our faculty's endeavors is their active engagement in safeguarding intellectual property rights. During this period, they have been granted a total of eight copyrights, while an additional four copyrights are currently in the filing process. This emphasis on intellectual property protection reflects the department's visionary approach to fostering innovation and preserving the fruits of their labor for future generations.

In the field of statistical analysis, the department has established itself as a trailblazer, shaping the landscape with groundbreaking software packages and online tools popularly named as OPSTAT. Among these revolutionary achievements is the creation of a patented and copyrighted software package that has transformed mating designs, earning widespread recognition for its remarkable effectiveness and unwavering reliability. Our department's ingenuity extends further to the agricultural scientific community, where we have meticulously designed and deployed online statistical analysis tools that cater specifically to their needs. The adoption of these tools by researchers from over 140 countries highlights their global impact and their role in empowering scholars to derive invaluable insights from complex datasets.

With a total of eight copyrights granted, and counting, our department stands as a beacon of excellence and innovation in the realm of statistical analysis and research.
