Most of the faculty members have visited foreign countries to attain advanced expertise in various fields of botany and plant physiology. The faculty has written 20 books and 3 practical manuals. Three faculty members were honoured as Professor Emeritus by ICAR. Research work carried out by the PG students and faculty has been published in the form of approximately 450 research and review papers.
