The Extension Education Institute, Nilokheri was established in 1959 as a Trainers’ Training Institute to provide training in Extension Teaching Methods and Communication Media. It is one of the pioneer and premier training institutes of the country which carrying the responsibility of organizing in-service training courses for middle level extension personnel engaged in broad based agricultural extension system.
