University Exhibition           

University level exhibition has been established & maintained by this Unit under the umbrella of Directorate of Extension Education. It was inaugurated on February 02, 1994 by Honorable Governor of Haryana Sh. Dhanik Lal Mandal.  This exhibition is frequently visited by persons from all ranks and files. In fact, this exhibition is a show window of the techniques/ technologies evolved/ developed by the different departments of the university in a comprehensive and effective manner.  Almost daily it is being visited by the scientists, students, defense personnel, farmers, etc. not only from the state of Haryana but other states of Indian Union too. 

Haryana Rural Antique Museum

There is no denying fact that Haryana has got a rich cultural heritage. To highlight this unique cultural heritage of Haryana, Haryana Rural Antique Museum was established in Gandhi Bhawan by Dr J.C. Sharma, first Director of Extension Education. It is maintained by this Unit under the umbrella of Directorate of Extension Education. Formally this museum was inaugurated on February 02, 1989 by Dr Har Sawroop Singh then worthy Vice chancellor, HAU, Hisar. This Museum not only highlights cultural details but also provides linkages between the old and new culture. The museum being a part of the Directorate of Extension Education of an Agricultural University, it was considered appropriate to preserve and display all those things related with agriculture in particular and rural    life in general. Up gradation and modernization work of this museum is in process. In brief, the old agricultural implements, costumes, household items, pottery pieces and the art objects have been displayed in an artistic manner so as to attract and educate the visitors about the rich culture of Haryana. Several new editions have been added to the existing collections.
